PORTRAITS + MONUMENTS
A photo-collage series of large, hand-crafted diptychs featuring individuals from diverse backgrounds, adorned with reproductions of their personal photos. During photo sessions, my sitters often share family histories and secrets — fragile stories suspended briefly on exhaled breath. To honor these ephemeral acts of storytelling, I also create imaginary, site-specific "monuments to shared stories."
